I think that's its really cute that you decided to do the unit on cinema and intimacy from your bedroom! I think you make a really great point of the relationship between cinema narrative and the intimacy that the camera allows. I wonder if that thesis holds up with films that do not take kissing as their subject as in The Great Train Robbery, which is made around the same time but has a very different subject matter.

I agree, the intimacy is created with the narrative. There is a lot going on in The Kiss in the Tunnel when they enter, then leave the tunnel and act promiscuous as you said.
